Tara Butler, Principal
Tara Butler founded The Broadview Group in 2000 after spending more than
10 years in the Customer Service, Publishing, Internet, and New Media
industries, including extensive experience in customer service, sales,
contact/call center management, organizational development, interim
management and change management. She has worked with several
organizations to grow or re-vitalize their existing businesses by
developing and implementing optimized organizational structures,
contact/call center business plans, training and development programs,
integration plans, and internal communication plans.
Ms. Butler was most recently the VP of Client Services for Who's
Calling. Her prior resume includes six years as an executive at Getty
Images, first as the VP of Sales & Service, then as the VP of Business
Affairs (Operations). Her accomplishments have ranged from managing
Who's Calling's Support team through a transformation from a manual,
paper based process to a 100% paperless sales process to growing Getty's
Customer Service group from a seven-person inbound sales team to an
80-person, multi-tier sales, customer service, technical support and
billing team that supported three e-commerce websites and a direct mail
business of over $150M in revenue per year. She has been featured in Best
Practices In Customer Service and Fast Company Magazine for
her innovative approaches to corporate culture and employee satisfaction.
Ms. Butler has a B.A. from Kenyon College and has completed an Executive
Business Program at the University of Washington, the coaching
program and the Leadership program through The Coaches Training Institute. She is a graduate of The
Pacific Institute Imagine 21 program and is a certified Pacific
Institute Facilitator. She is also a certified Friesen, Kaye &
Associates trainer. She is a member of the
International Coaching Federation (ICF), The Co-Active Network, and The
International Association of Coaches. Ms. Butler is on the board of The Ceres Community Project and has also been on the
Boards of The Excellence Foundation, The Executive Network of Seattle
(TENS) and the Woods Creek Support Consortium.
