About The Broadview Group

Tara Butler, Principal

Tara Butler founded The Broadview Group in 2000 after spending more than 10 years in the Customer Service, Publishing, Internet, and New Media industries, including extensive experience in customer service, sales, contact/call center management, organizational development, interim management and change management. She has worked with several organizations to grow or re-vitalize their existing businesses by developing and implementing optimized organizational structures, contact/call center business plans, training and development programs, integration plans, and internal communication plans.

Ms. Butler was most recently the VP of Client Services for Who's Calling. Her prior resume includes six years as an executive at Getty Images, first as the VP of Sales & Service, then as the VP of Business Affairs (Operations). Her accomplishments have ranged from managing Who's Calling's Support team through a transformation from a manual, paper based process to a 100% paperless sales process to growing Getty's Customer Service group from a seven-person inbound sales team to an 80-person, multi-tier sales, customer service, technical support and billing team that supported three e-commerce websites and a direct mail business of over $150M in revenue per year. She has been featured in Best Practices In Customer Service and Fast Company Magazine for her innovative approaches to corporate culture and employee satisfaction.

Ms. Butler has a B.A. from Kenyon College and has completed an Executive Business Program at the University of Washington, the coaching program and the Leadership program through The Coaches Training Institute.
